Part of a fun trade deal which scored me an AK!!!! :thumbup: included doing these sheaths.
The style isn't particularly different than my normal fare but I was asked to write "Busse Combat" on the sheath somewhere. We tossed around some ideas on where but it was his idea to go down the edge.
I thought copying, somewhat, the cursive script of the Busse Custom Shop logo was the best look.

This is what we came up with..
(I've been using the AK every weekend.:D)

Good looking leather! Cant wait to see that AK sheath! That is going to be half a cows hide! Thanks again for the SFNO leather, I am going to be taking my NMSFNO for a walk in the woods this weekend!
 
Those are really, really nice sheaths! I love the elegant and understated effect of having "Busse Combat" written on the edges, too! Very nice!

.. It's one of those ideas that came from a Busse nut who shall remain nameless (see post no.8 .. :p ha ha) that I wouldn't have thought of doing myself but now it's done I just love it! I've seen stamped letters but not this before and I think it can open a new bunch of ideas for Busse sheath makers.
 
Those sheaths are AWESOME!

The color is magnificent.

The Busse Combat script adds a very nice touch.

Ha.. Thanks Jerry.. Means alot coming from the man himself.

Funny thing about the font for the "Busse Custom Shop" logo.. I couldn't find an exact match in my Word program. I had to try and copy off the teeny tiny letters on my SFNOLE. :p
 
Great work Stuart, what i want to know is what model is that satin blade knife and did it come from Busse satin or was it done after.
