I thought I would share something a little different for me. I made this light weight knife out of .075 O-1 with a flat grind. The overall length is 8.875 with a 4.250 inch blade and it weighs in at 2 ounces with carbon fiber scales. I ground it very thin with a nice distal taper.
I have been having a blast cutting up page after page out of an old catalog. I jokingly call the knife my new paper shredder.
Below is a short video of the knife on my YouTube channel but I warning you I have been told I am a bit dry in my narration and yea they are right. :)

That looks like a great little knife! I'm curious about that carbon fiber. It looks like the weave patern is only on the top layer, and the rest is a different layering? It's very nice looking.

Adam.

Adam I bought that Carbon fiber from a company call Thundertech racing back in the late 90's. I have no idea if they exist anymore. They used it as is other then profiling and drill it. I thought it would carry that pattern through the whole piece but as you said the weave is only on the surface. I agree it is a different look.
Thank you for the kind words I am glad you liked it.

John
