After I return home from over here in lovely Iraq, my wife and I are going to take some time and do a little hiking and exploring in the Hill Country of Texas near Fredericksburg. I found this little beauty, and made a good trade for it. It will be my "go to" knife for field and hiking use. It's a Randall Model 5-4" knife. Can't wait to get it!

Will post some pics of it being used in the field when I get back!

Nice knife,thanks for you're Service.Gods Speed!
Thanks again for your service. Great choice you made there.
Make sure you post some pics in the Randall subforum here too.

After you get used to that handle shape you'll have a really hard time going back to a straight one. I sure wish more makers would angle their handles like that.

Thanks to all! And Bryan, I still plan on having you make that knife for me after the first of the year!

Regards,
Ron

Nice knife Ron. Give me a shout when you get back. I live about 30 minutes away from Fredericksburg and the wife and I could meet up with you if y'all want some company. Stay safe and watch your six.

Great looking blade Ron! We'll be passing each other as I'm headed to Afghanistan in early December. I hope you have a safe and quick return home and enjoy some quality outdoors time with the wife...stay safe bro!

Ghostwolf, will do.

Thanks, Coaldigger! I'll be putting it to good use!

ROCK6, you stay as safe as you can as well, my friend! You're a professional as well, so I won"t presume to tell you how to watch your tail over there. Will probably be in Africa sometime soon after the first of the year. It's never-ending, you know!
