What kind of knife would you say this is? I had a hard time coming up with a title/description for this thread:o In the past, I would have called this a variation of my Cricket model but I realized there was already a knife called that so I'm not using that name anymore. Let me know what you guys think of it. The blade is O1, 3/16 thick, 3 7/8" long. Thanks for looking.

First of all, I love it. Secondly, where did you get the dark gree G10. I have a special project that needs some.

Ray, I believe that's called a Laconico BAEDC (Bad-Ass Every Day Carry)

Thanks guys.
Matt, I bought the G10 from knifemaker Darek Fraley. He had some for sale on his table at a knife show last year.
Redsnake, It' will go up for sale eventually.

Ray, that knife reminds me of a Mako shark. How about "The Mako"

I was thinking along the same lines! This will sound silly but the rear pin/thong hole looks like an eye. The slab has a fishtail-ish look near the ricasso. The green adds to the fish feel. I was thinking freshwater fish so I'd go with Musky or Pike. They're fast, strong, toothy critters and that knife seems to be as well.

Your knife, but "Musky" or "Pike" is simply not tough enough for this knife. It was the blade of this knife that reminded me of a Mako.
