A new knife is born (fighter or Bowie??)

Ein tolles Messer. Das Muster im Stahl ist unglaublich - der Griff ist beinahe schöner als die Klinge. Woher kriegt mann in Europa die Knochen einer Giraffe ?

Fighterbowie sounds good. It is a very beautiful knife. The damascus is interesting, I have never see this kind of pattern.
I will translate the mesures for metrically challenged people ;)

Following you will find a knife I just finished a few days ago.
The damascus was made by a friend of mine: Peter J. Stienen. He called the pattern "great roses".
Is it a Bowie or a fighter?
I call it Fighterbowie!
As you can see, I'm influenced by the western scene.

@ P.K. Hi, habe ich vor zwei Jahren in München auf der Messermesse von Dietmar Kressler abgekauft. War sehr teuer, da stabilisiert.
Ist aber sehr spröde bei der Verarbeitung.

Mr. Dell, it's wonderful seeing you post on BFC. I have been a fan of your work since I first saw your website. This new knife like all of your work is stunning.

My favorite knife of yours is one I took off of your website and changed the background to. I hope you approve?

Thanks for the translation Flava, although I had it pretty well figured out on my own. Wolfgang, that is a magnificent bowie, I love that damascus. If you would like to post more pictures of your knives, you certainly have my blessing.

@Phil, thank you for that nice foto. Wau, would be nice to get such a
monument. It's a knifemakers dream!!
I copied this anto my disk, it is OK I hope.?

@Wulf, thank you. I hope you are still satisfied with your knife??

Thank you all together, when the next knife is finished and it is worth showing here, I will do so.

Regards from Germany
Wolfgang

Wolfgang - it's still as nice as it was the day I got it. Thanks!

The Damascus reminds me of 'watered steel' or the ancient Wootz of Persia........very nice!!!!!! ;)
