I didn't even make the knife and I was offended by your post!
Saying that someone's design is 'disgusting' cuts pretty much to the heart of it all. Best not saying anything if you're gonna go that far, but that's just me.

As for the metric system, MOST people in the world use it, (except us Canadians who seem to have to work with a metric/imperial hybrid:rolleyes:)

Don't hold back, how do you -really- feel about it ?:p

Well put Lorien! Some class was shown in the third post. Not a bad looking knife either. I haven't tried duracoat on a knife yet, but have used a similar coat on a rifle or two and like it.

I think it looks good, If you like it thats all that matters!!Looks to serve its purpose well on the battle field.

Thank you Hmathews for the kind words. :D:thumbup:. I have tryed duracoat on some knives and i think its great. You dont have to harden it in the owen. Thats one big + i think. I think i will use it on some of my revolvers.

Thank you gunsto. Yes i agree about the pc there is they who like it and they who dont. I like it, you have a good grip i think. The drawback maybe is that it get dirty. But it is pretty easy to rewrap it.

We all have different tastes, and I think you pushed the envelope a bit too far. If you are going to criticize negatively, at least give some constructive criticism from your own experience in knife making.

I think it looks great, and very comparable to striders on the market.

For a fellow Texan, here are the measurements in customary:

Depth (thickness) 6mm = 6/25 = 0.24"
Length 240mm = 240/25 = 9.6"
Width 40mm = 40/25 = 1.6"

Great knife seved, take care, J.

Big fan of tanto blades and simplicity. And brother that knife has both! Excellent build!!! I would want some G-10 or CF for scales though...:p

P/S Does it have a chisel grind?

Thank you Guys for the kind words its warming my knifemaking heart:D.

Thanks for the mesurments J's Knives-N-More. :thumbup:I have to say i am realy bad at inches. I agree constructive critisism is only good. Thats make you go forward.

Thanks Kevin Jones :D. Realy great conversion chart i have add it to my favorites..

babakanoosh45 Thanks yes i like simple and clean knives to and of course tanto. Yes i maybe have an order for a tanto exactly like this one but with black G10 and grinding finish. If so i will show it.:D. This one isnt with chiselgrind.

You're welcome seved.
Didn't comment on your knife as it's not a style I know much about.
Would like to ask how the duracoat finish holds up under hard use?

Yes i understand it. You cant know everything :). Yes it holds up very nice .

That you choose to publicly insult a respected maker speaks volumes of your character.

Irrespective of your personal feelings of the blade style, you have no constructive criticism to offer, in fact you have nothing constructive to offer whatsoever!

Education will help your writing, though I doubt that there's anything to improve your character!

That apart, lovely knife Seved!

the design certainly shows promise.

one thing to think about though, a square handle will greatly increase user fatigue, maybe consider tapering the handle from thinner at the choil to fatter at the butt.

just a thought
