I have a new member to my family!
Sunday afternoon my wife and I adopted a beautiful black cat named "Bali". We picked her up at CAP after she had been there since October (the poor kitty).
We wanted a kitten to raise and train ourselves, but when we saw Bali sitting there in her cage with her head down, I thought about what it must be like to be stuck in a shelter with all kinds of other cats and dogs after your owner died, and nobody wants you because you are already a couple of years old and because you only have one eye.
Yep, Bali is missing her left eye, we don't know how because there wasn't much information when she was found. But it doesn't hinder her in any way, she is the most loving and friendly lap cat I have ever had the pleasure to meet.
Happy New Year everyone,
Do something special,... someone close to you needs it.
