As some of you may know I had to put my oldest pitbull Mason down recently, the old boy had just gotten to far down to fix. It was probaly the hardest thing I have ever had to do, and it left a big void in our family. SO two weeks ago the wife and I go to Wal mart to buy weekly goods and we see a few guys selling pitbull puppies, and the wife immeditely got pissed but we had to see them, the wife believes in rescueing dogs from shelters and not promoting breeding of dogs, and I do to., but we still had to see them. SO their is like 4 little puppies running around, really beautiful puppies and we notice one in a box alot smaller than the others, we ask whats up with that one and the guy said hes the runt and hes really sick and he didnt want to get the others sick so he keeps him in a box away from the others, and I guess my soft side kicked in and I asked what it would take to get the little runt and explained I am against buying animals blah, blah, blah. So I feel like I rescued this little fellow for the low price of 25.00 dollars,LOL Took him to the vet got a bunch of medicine and hes running like he should now, his name is Roscoe, hes extremely small for his age but the doctors have said hes gonna be fine, just probaly alot smaller than most of his breed size, Heres some pictures of Roscoe and Penny, thanks and Godbless to everyone,CHarlie

Good for you, it is a good thing when you rescue a little feller like that. And a lot of the time they turn out to be great dogs.

Most excellent! Roscoe got a great Mom & Dad not to mention a role model in Penny!

Soooo Cooool!!! What a little sweetheart.
I'll be posting pic's tonight of my new family addition.;)

He is a cutie Charlie . I know how you feel , we lost our 2nd. one for this year a week ago . Kidney problems on the 1st. one and limp node cancer on the little cocker . Not fun , they both had been with us for 9 yrs. and through 3 moves . One real old guy left , actually he is the oldest of them all , been around for 12 yrs. That will be a real tough one .

That's a fine little pup you have there. When I was a kid, my mom got me a Border Collie pup for Christmas which we named "Bruiser" due to his black eye he had. He also was the runt of the litter and turned out to be the biggest and smartest of the litter. A heck of a dog.

Don't let Rosco surprise you when he grows up to be a strappin stud of a dog. The right diet and TLC goes a LONG way with a pup. Congrats on the new addition to your family and thank you for helping out a little guy in need of a loving home.
