I swear I *DO* make knives....sometimes....

This is the first one out of the shop in far too long, so even though it's not much of a knife really, it's worth sharing :)

1084/15n20 raindrop Damascus. About 5 1/2-6" OAL. This will be getting a sheath of buffalo leather over kydex. My method of leather wrapping Kydex makes for a slim sheath that still looks a little more dressed up than plan old Kydex. I'm just waiting for the Kydex to come in to finish this one up and get it off to it's new owner.

Necroposting and resurrecting threads from the 90's is not cool.

Oh...whoops....:D

NICE! Deker that looks great

Nice! Make sure you show us the sheath. Sounds cool. In fact, maybe take a couple of progress pix if you can?

Really like the shape of it d.

thanks for the kind words so far guys! I'll make sure to get some pictures as I do the sheath.

I'd like to make a few more of these 'cause they're something quick and fun I can do with the limited shop time I have, but I wanted to gauge interest before I go make any more.

You should make some from the Redwood Burl damascus you forgot to sell us ;)

Forgot nothing! That billet ate 3 saw blades at the local welding shop! Someday I'll manage to get it properly annealed and you've still got the first 3 pieces :)
