I just got this little Ohta in the mail today. It's only 2 3/4" closed but it really makes a nice EDC. It's a little knife that thinks it's big. I really like the swedge Hiroaki put on this one.

Wow. Great looking.

What coating is on the blade?
What alloy does he use?

The coating on the blade is my crummy photography. :D The blade and backspring are ATS-34 with a high grit satin finish on the blade.

Thanks for the nice comments all. This is my 4th Ohta and I have yet to be disappointed.

Ed, I had my eye on one of his teardrops. That's a great little knife.

Thats a neat LITTLE knife! It can be tough to make the smalls one look right, this one does. I would also like to hijack Mr Ohta's stag delivery truck;)

Congrats on a fine knife

Oh my, Oh my...Gary that is just outstanding. I love to look at Hiroaki's work and your collection is some of the best. Thanks for showing it friend.

A fella could show a group shot of his Ohta collection if he had one (superliminal hint).
:D
