messing around today, thinking of a decent setup to show off my set of old timer stockmen, well, this is what I built, not the prettiest thing, but it works.

Great bunch of knives MM. Nice graduated rack!
The only thing that looks different to me is; I'm so used to seeing knives displayed in the "mark side up" position, I think of it as the classic position, and they look upside down to me. I also have a big mouth:foot: !

yeah, I thought about that too. I wouldn't post it here if I didn't want to hear honest comments from fellow forum members :)

You can turn your screen over or reverse the plug on your monitor. Here, is this better?

:D

You did a good job as usual, Kaleb. I've toyed with the idea of making one of antler for myself, but display space is limited to the walls above my desk. I might make one to use for pictures though. Big enough for fixed blades.

AHHHHHHHH, they're gonna fall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Guys
Codger, I thought of slotted antler for some large lockblades, but I didn't have a suitable piece, instead I made up a few of these wire ones, nearly invisible. This LB7 was bought at the fleamarket yesterday for $5, bolsters were tarnished, but simichrome cleaned them up pretty good, has a serial #AA23701. Any idea on an age? Pics don't do the knife justice

simple but effective. The front slides up inbetween the liners and holds the knife upright, can be bent to display the knife at different angles. For a fixed blade, just rest the blade in there.

WN, Is this better? :)

While I had the camera and lamp out, I figured why not A few shots of my small displays and a shot of my broadhead collection.

1988-90 is an educated guess. I still haven't recorded enough serial numbers and details to get it much closer.

Nice to see your knives back from down-under MM!
Great display and reading corner; gives me an idea for a thread. I'll have to take some pics of my display cases too!
Thanks for the pictures!

Thanks for the date Codger, close enough for me.

WN, I need to add some knife books to my reading corner :D, most of the gun books I keep for airgun reference, as i do alot of tinkering with those aswell. Always love to see pics of displays :) I have some more knives I intend to display, just haven't got to it yet. I have 2 unfinished buck 110's to add to my lock blade display, need to find a really rough LB7 to do some tinkering on...maybe some ebony, stippled bolsters, filework. Well, I'm thinking again, this could get dangerous, so I'll go for now
