A few months ago I contacted Achim and told him I need a light all arround utility knife, suited for hiking, backpacking, etc...
We exchanged emails, discussed about it and this is what came out. Specs:

- 7" blade forged from 1.3505 (52100) roller bearing steel, convex ground, 1/8" thick, 3X normalized, 3X annealed, 3X hardened, ice hardened, 3X tempered
- copper guard
- Axis deer antler handle
- mamooth ivory butt cap
- bronze pins

The knife is light, extremly sharp (even scarry sharp :)), the handle fits my hand perfectly. The leather sheath is also very light.

The scan doesn't do justice to this knife.

Flava, that is one gorgeous knife. I like the whole package: blade shape and length, gorgeous copper guard, and beautiful stag. Of course that is a nice sheath too. Please let us know how well she works. Congrats,
Mongo

Achim sure does make beautiful knives.

That Axis Deer antler sure looks good. Very similar in appearance to Sambar Stag.
