I just thought that I would share a pic of my two latest custom jobs. As per the norm, the fit and finish, as well as the 'walk and talk', are fantastic. The Elk model has been crying out to be my user and as it has such a classic look, I believe it will be my EDC. Now I am just waiting on my Sambar variation. Needless to say, I am hopelessly addicted to Custom 110s'. :)

you & me and the others make more then 3 !

Thanks, guys!

@ HOE3 - That Damascus 110 will be a sight to see. Looking forward to some pics.

@ johnwaynesandw - If you haven't already, I strongly recommend the Custom 110 experience. You will have a custom version of one of the greatest knives of all time and the joy of using or collecting it. My Custom Shoppe 110s' are my favorite knives of all the knives that I own.

This isn't helping me with my decision-making disorder any AT ALL!

I thought I wanted stag for my first Custom 110 after I saw some cool pictures here. Then I saw pictures here with water buffalo, and that threw me into the quandary of whether I wanted the smooth or jigged! And now . . . now that elk horn is looking really, really sweet!

Hey APF...

I LOVE that elk!!! Mine looked like that until I messed it up wetforming it into a sheath. Stain transferred. Sent it to Buck and it came back with something a bit more barky and with brass pins (I thought that was cool...brass pins on a NS...someone was drunk or creative :)).

Nice engraving on those bolsters. Looks familiar ;)

Thanks, Messer and Goose!

I am having a real hard time putting down the Elk 110. There is just something about the 'warmth' in those Elk scales that demands to be held. As well, the look is just so classic, that it matches the 110 perfectly. In fact, the look is something that I would have expected my Grandfather to use, so seeing as I am a Grandfather 4x over, I may as well look the part. ;)

P.S. - You are right Goose, I did get that engraving idea from one of your knives. :D

P.P.S - Rhino, you will want to get the whole herd of custom 110s' anyway, so just think of your decision as the first of many.
