  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I was asked tonight if I knew what a plug bayonet was. I replied that everyone knew what plug bayonets were and that they were very popular as not only weapons of war but hunting weapons in case the game took offense to your one shot. They were most popular during the late 1600's through the first quarter of the 1700's but were re-discovered from time to time throughout the black powder era like during the battle of Kings Mountain. (That was what he was interested in anyway)

Anyway....a friend wants one or two or so and I'vbe always loved the French, triangular blade models!

Off to the lathe, and forge. :p

It should be fun Will. BTW...I hope no one believes that's the way I answered the question. It was more like.....yeah, I know what they are.
