Let's see them!

Here's my entry. An early 1990s era "Pronghorn" by Ed Fowler.

Blade 2012 photo - Fowler table

There is a new crop of makers that are carrying on in the Willow Bow style, including Butch and Shannon Deveraux, Chris Amos, Jared Williams, Mark Reich, Joe Calton, and Nate Summers. There may be a few more..The HEPK school is a week long seminar run at the Wyoming ranch. Chris usually runs these, from what i understand. Looks like they are becoming a strong group, from seeing the knives at Blade. Though i think it would help to have a bigger online presence. The test knives they displayed at the Blade table survived some very impressive endurance testing!

I've got a few, one of my favorite handle materials. I like the bark but really like what happens when it's polished.

My avatar has two by R.W. Loveless, the top dogs in my collection, matching shop #s:

Daum, Win!

I've got a couple of folders by Mike Draper....the smaller of the two has a 4" blade. ;)

Beautiful knives here--that big Mike Draper folder must be a monster. I really appreciate sheep horn on hunters...

Thanks gentlemen! Great looking knives.

Will, the knarly textured horn really looks striking w/ the damascus in your John White. I would think a nice engraving would suit the Fisk guard, should you choose to commission it. What do you think?

Will,

That John White is out of this world. Amazing.

A folder by Steve Hoel that I have owned for many years after seeing one like it at the NY Custom Knife show in '81

That John White is incredible! Here's a Bill Ankrom 3/4 Chute with a Paul Long sheath.

While not full custom, I thought this was pretty enough to post.

Custom shop Buck 110, sheath by Claude Scott. I sold it a while ago and probably shouldn't have...

A couple different ways:
First one has scales on a Damascus Brute de Forge and the second one has a mortised handle on a single twist hunter:

Great looking knives! Thanks all.

Kevin, your Fisk selections are beauties! I love the 3rd and 4th down!

Kevin, those sheep horn pieces knock me out. I don't know anyone who does sheep horn better than Jerry Fisk, and he's done quite a bit of it. Those are stunning.

Murray, I've always been a fan of Steve Hoel folders, and that one's no exception--such a clean, fluid look really sets off the horn inlay.

Karl, that bowie has a unique look I've admired ever since you first posted it--such a rugged beauty. Never get tired of seeing that one.

Thanks for the nice comments, guys--John did an amazing job for me on that hunter.

I think so, too, David. Thank you. Unfortunately, that piece is no longer mine.
