I am not taking orders for stellite bladed knives.

BEAUTY!! Love the filework :)
Not taking orders? That's because you're working on a bunch for the CKG show, right? :)
I hope the stellites you make move well for you. Gotta get me one too :D

Nope, not because of the show, it is just because I had so much fun making this knife without having to follow a pattern or use specified materials I have decided not to take orders for stellite bladed knives but rather just keep on making them as a form of enjoyment.

Making this knife was like the old days when I could play with the designs any way that I felt like on any given day and if I find a particular piece of handle material that strikes my fancy I can incorporate that in the design with out worrying about the customer being upset with the changes. I will not be keeping any patterns for these knives and each one will probably be unique.

I can't give you any more information on this forum. Commercial discussion is discouraged here.

That is an absolutely beautiful knife George. It has great lines, one of my favorite handle materials and fantastic file work.

I think so, the fellow who bought it had a silver tongue and talked Carol out of it before it was finished. She usually gets the first choice of new models and wanted this one a lot.

One of these days I have got to get busy and make another stellite knife for the show on Oct 14th. I'm not sure what it will look like but I would like to try one with a stag handle.

Thanks, the next one is already underway. It will be ready for the Canadian Knifemakers Guild show this Sunday, the 14th in Mississauga.

I am not planning to tell anybody what I have in mind for this series until they are finished and photographed. The reason for this is simple, even I don't know what the knife will look like until it is done because I will be selecting materials as I go along and could change my mind at any time based on a whim. It is more fun that way.

I have never met an aerial photographer before, are you into mapping?
