Yesterday was my birthday, and a Great Eastern Tidoute in bocote made its appearance.
Well, it seems they're getting it together. The snap is crisp, the edges some of the best I've ever seen on a slippie (convex, even) and the wood is nicely figured.
The only drawback so far is that there are a few little flat spots in the spey blade, but they're so small as to not effect cutting power.
I think I've a new favorite slip.
