I visited the pawn shop today.
Found a 2015 Date Code Buck 119 with sheath, for $30.
Since I did not have a 119, I bought it. :)
Whoever owned it before did/does not know how to sharpen. It is almost as sharp as a butter knife.
I think I'll send it in to Buck for a SPA Treatment and sharpening.

Sheath is in very good condition. It has a couple minor scuffs by the snap. I suspect a bit of black shoe polish will remedy that. :)

Hello Sir - I'm fairly certain you may know the in and outs of sending a Knife for a SPA to Buck.
Allow me to offer you my resent experience. Sent Postal Priority, signed return. ( I prefer UPS )
Post Office stated BUCK received my knife. Called Buck to confirm. " Sorry you are not in our system"
Second week, " Sorry you are not in our system" WHAT ? Well then, where is my old Custom $200.00
Buck 110 ? Turn around for a re-blade is 4>6 weeks. I mentioned the time line seemed excessive. Much to the CS lady she apologized, offered a free upgrade to S30V ( $30 ) I just wanted a standard blade steel. Had it in my hand four days after the offer to upgrade. Your mileage may differ. Good find.

My recent experience with the spa service. Walk in, hand it to Miranda, she smiles and says she'll have it done in just a couple minutes. I browse the store and next thing you know it's ready.

Now you have to remember they get garbage bag size bags of spa service knife requests. As many as 5 or 6 bags a day. It takes time to log all of the customers, their requests and knives they shipped. Quite an undertaking everyday. I believe one guy does all the spa treatments. Only one.

Your mileage may vary.

That was a good find fishhunter. My 119 was a flea market find.
I am sure you will enjoy it
I have had only good experince with Bucks spa service and their
Warrantee service as well.
