A new way for carrying my folder

Hi everyone...
I thought you would like to see my new way of carrying my folder and so far its Awesome!!!
The idea started out after I purchased several nice pants and did not want to tear the pocket...so, started to look around the Net for a new way of carrying my favourite folder and I stumbled upon this company: Wicek Leather Handworks.
and saw this sheath....I contacted the maker Mr.Marek and he asked the right questions (colour, size of belt, etc) and the outcome is a piece of artwork....

I am usually very picky/uncomfortable on having things on my belt...but I gave it a try and couldn't be Happier....very comfortable in any position and don't feel it at all...A+

there are several benefits to cross drawing my folder....free pocket, comfortable to draw than a standard sheath carry on the right side, can easily access the knife while sitting in the car with the belt seat on, and can access the knife with my left hand....


Cons: The access belt after the buckle wouldn't go through the tight sheath's loop...so, I had to switch around how I thread my belt on my pants... and it is not as fast as pocket carry...

Its seems like a good option for when carrying a cell phone. I don't like them in the same pocket. Usually I just clip it on the belt then or wear it in a leather pouch similar to yours.
 
it cost me $39+ $6 shipping....


Forgot to mention that I added a small lanyard for polling the knife...the sheath is really snug for now...
 
Nicely done. I just designed a belt sheath for my folders or flashlight to carry them this way, cept I'll be able to carry it horizontally, vertically, or clipped in the pocket. I'm also having another made for my smaller knives or flashlights. It's just so much more comfortable to hold a knife that doesn't have a clip. It's going to be made by the wife of one of our knifemakers here.

Thats really nice looking, is retention good w/o the clip? If I did, that I would want to remove the clip since it wouldn't be needed anymore.
 
Is that the guy out of Canada that sells a lot on eBay? I have commissioned him to make me a horizontal belt sheath for my GB after doing a lot of research and being recommended him by Barman (member her). He has a backlog for customs, I emailed him almost a month ago and he put me on the list for one but he said it would be May before he got to it. I know he does PM2 ones and keeps them in stock and probabily some others (I think manix 2's as well as some others) so I don't think he's actually that swamped, he just has to keep up with normal production first before doing customs.

Anyway yours looks great man. I can't wait for mine and to get my heavy GB out of my carpenters pocket and onto my belt.
 
That is Wicek leather out of Poland and he does amazing work. I have a sheath from him for my paramilitary and my small sebenza and should be receiving another from him for my military any day now. I can't say enough good things about his work!
