A new way to get rid of the evidence!!

If you look at the seller's other auctions,I suspect the seller is female and could have picked it up at a garage sale.

Michael,
Are you going to bid on it?
If not I can clean that bad boy up. I have been looking for one of those & have been unsuccessful so far. I know Paul could make an awesome sheath for it.

No, I am not going to bid on it. I will usually place a tag bid on an item of interest to let my friends know. In this case, the knife replicates some I already have in my collection mint and complete. Yes, the dried blood, oil, or whatever it is will quite likely come off easily revealing the original crocus finish (if the seller is correctly describing the condition).

Ask the seller for as many pictures as he is willing to send. Different angles, lighting, etc will reveal a world of insight. Even posession of the original pics without reduction of resolution required on ebay often helps. Ask questions about the knife's history before their posession too. An informed buyer is a happy buyer! Good luck!
