I recieved this as an early birthday gift. A nice upside down 110, I think this is a 5th version 2nd varient, although i'm not positive.

I personally think that this version of the 110 is one of the best. The additional heft feels good in the hand, and the fact that it is 440C makes it even better. I realize they rounded the edges to make it easier to carry in a pocket, but since I don't carry mine in my pocket, I really like it. Nice pick up.

Happy Birthday!! I wish I had received a Buck on every Birthday. I think it's a 5th version,1st varient, second varient would be an inverted 3 line, and third varient,a 3 line tip up

It looks like a slabside to me...at least in the pic...

I have an upside-down two-line two-pin and it is a slabside...

Trax,
I was referring to the later versions that had the edges rounded, which is why I prefer the earlier ones, particularly the no dot versions like the one Muskrat Man got.

Very nice. I noticed a two pin Buck USA had a bid on EBAY of $162. and there was still a few days left in the auction the other day.

It wasn't even in mint condition!

yeah that whole upside down thing has me puzzled too , what does it mean?

All Buck 110's made from 1972 to the present are tang stamped with the tang stamp being read "tip of the knife pointed up" and there are 1972 and older 110's with the tang stamp read "tip down", upside down or "inverted stamping":D
