I was browsing through woodsmonkey and saw this article by Scott Wickham. I thought to myself, wow, that is a nice design. Then I saw the size! Holy cow, what a neat necker!
Does anyone have one of these?

John makes some great knives, and that one looks like a winner too. I like the size and the shape of the blade. Thanks for posting that review and making me want one too :D

very nice - I looked at the web site and REALLY like the looks of the multipurpose.

ooohh.. that does look like a nice necker...:) John makes some great knives..

Neat looking necker. It has some design elements that remind me of some Spyderco fixed blades, especially the Mule Team knives.

I visited w/ John a couple of weeks ago and he's thinking about making some smaller Kinuza's- no scales, cord wrapped- I thought they would be well received :)

I just ordered an MPS that I'm going to set up as a necker. John is an awesome guy to deal with. I love the looks of the Kinuza, definitley a solid design, something John seems to excel at.

I have a few of John's knives and they're all great. I haven't heard anything about this one though. Looks like a sweet little necker.

Hey Joe,

Thanks for posting the link, I appreciate it! The Kinzua is a fun knife to make, I was glad Scott liked it. I should have some in 1095 and 154CM out in a bit.

I am also playing around with the handle design (as MTwarden said) - I really like it without the thumb and same blade length. And maybe a cord wrap, we'll see.

Thanks again!

I like that. Sometimes I wish my Landi PSK was a little pointier, and lo and behold - here's this!
