tonight the GF and I and some friends got out to fenway to see the Redsox beat the Angels:D:thumbup:

Had the greatest seats on the first base line right alongside the legendary Pesky's Pole!

a couple or first person field view shots with the iphone;)
you can really feel the tradition and magic in this ball park!

J Ps where is, Max, Dennis from MA or Lil' Foo when you need them??

Oh I don't think I can count how many sausages i've eaten from the sausage guy outside fenway.

that's right...we got a good old sox fan from NH on the busse forums:thumbup:

I may live here now, but i'm Boston born and raised!

I moved here for better gun laws/taxes.

Sounds like a great time Jeff. Was the weather nice and cool because its been very hot around the heartland lately.

I always knew you were a sausage-swallower. LOL

I love Fenway. Used to go there a lot in the 80's when it was cheap and you could get seats.

I've been to HALF of the major league parks. I'll say this about Fenway - the seats are too small, the food is second worst in baseball (behind Philly - geez people - talk about BAD FOOD) but it's an adventure.

The first year they closed off Yawkey Way was the best. They made REAL FOOD out there. Now it's the same awful stuff they serve inside. ????

Great game. I went to bed, but it didn't look good. Must have been exciting.

Glad you had fun. I used to work about 200ft away form Fenway and never even went to a game. Occasionally we would hit the open steak sandwich or sausage vendors and roasted peanut carts. Talk about heart burn for the rest of the day, good times indeed.
Did you bring your SNFO's for protection from the Fenway riffraff after the game :D

I'd take a MOAB. Carried OWB of course. I'm sure security would love that. ROTFL!!!

Speaking of which - do they still pat you down before you enter the park? It's been a year or three and I can't remember if they do or not.

Glad to hear you had a great time Jeff:thumbup:

Thanks for the pics!

BTW-I'd love to see our Braves playing up there some fall. Wouldn't that be a great WS:thumbup:

No SFNO...lol thought it would be a bit much..was confident on my physical prowess( i'm prob over confident lol) and one of my LARGER buddies to get my back if trouble should arise!! none did :D

Dennis, no pat down surprisingly enough:eek: but overall this "patdown" is ineffective and "smoke and mirrors" to make the sheeple feel better. we all know a determined individual will circumvent any half assed effort to not "offend people" and try to maintain a truly safe enviroment. my opinion...do it right or not at all!!!

thanks for the comments friends!! Jeff

Very nice. I wouldnt mind going there...these pirates are getting old :footinmouth:

Dennis...where does PNC park stand up to the others (that is if you have been there)? I hear great things about the park...it's just the team is awful
