I was wondering if somebody could help me. I need an estimate for some custom bo shuriken.
I will send precise dimensions.
Can anybody do that kind of work ?
 
I have a buddy who is a blacksmith. He can make fancy (heavy) iron chopsticks, so he may be able to do something like that (with the proper dimesnions) in untempered steel.

I need a set of ten, 1/2" stock mild steel, 8" long.
all the same dimensions and weight.

they can be single or double pointed.
(either is fine with me)

Danny, have you considered the version Cold Steel makes? I think they call it the Torpedo, they make them in 2 sizes for less than $20 each.
 
the torpedo is 2x too big!

the railroad spikes could be forged into some fine shuriken.

at this point, id be willing to pay for just 10 to 20 pieces of 1/2 " square stock cut into 8 " lengths and shipped to me here...
 
Turns out my smith buddy hasn't fired up the forge yet. Bar stock ground to shape would do the trick, I wager.

id do it myself, but i cant find the steel and i dont even have a garage.
i have decided i want a set of twelve with an option for another set in case some of them dont fly like the others.
 
I'll make em. At that price, I'll finish them however you like, and pay shipping to Japan.
