Well...I can't even call it a Nakiri, and I don't. Mostly I see it as a veggie cleaver, thin and quick!
I really wanted to do something different with the blade and thought that this not only looked fresh, but certainly lends to the dexterity of the tip.
....Next was to have fun with color! I have been getting some woods stabilized and dyed,
So, I had this purple Maple and jade-green G10 & got some 1mm green woven cotton line that I registered over the pin....
....and then rosin impregnated for a fun look and fantastic grip.
This thing is thin and wicked.
The blade on this one has a cutting edge of 7" and OAL is 12&7/8" & feels amazing in the hand.
