Here is a piece Jason did back in 2010. Jason just got it back in his hands and sent me a pic for fun so I thought I would post it up.

This is a Non Traditional (STeven will cringe) piece made of L-6 in the grand style of my dear departed friend Phill Hartsfield.

Something cool you don't see every day :)

I don't know anything about the knife, other than it will shave toilet paper in midair, but I'm curious about the contraption that it's hanging from. ;)

Non traditional but way cool. And as Coop said, this thing will probably cut air.

neato!

Trebuchet sounds good too. I will be impressed to see some video of Jason Knight standing at the ready, with a forged steel weapon of some kind, awaiting the flinging of a cantelope via trebuchet at him. Testing blades at max velocity.

That's kind of the picture I had conjured up too!

LMAO. Jason, why am I not surprised that you have a mini-trebuchet in your back yard? Will it fit in the bed of your truck? If so it needs to come to shows.:D Oh, and that is a very nice sword/Garsson irritant.;)

That was the image I got immediately too.

The handle looks to me like it's at a slight angle from the blade. Am I just seeing things, or is that designed that way to improve the cutting geometry?

The tri cycle pic is one of my personal favorites :)

Please do not do this at home

Fun stuff Joe
coast to coast kuhkuri
Dave Lish tri cycle
i have cut stuff from SC to Maine to Seattle with that Kuk
i only rode in front of Daves shop on the trike

Thanks Guy,

I have grin from ear to ear !!!

And they said that French are crazy !!!

:D :D :D

Very nice, that's my favorite size for a blade. The only thing I would like to see is some curve to the blade for follow through. Was the sword out for testing before it came back to Jason, any info on how it performed?

Hey buddy it's been a long time. How are you ?

This piece went to a customer a couple years ago and now it has come home , so to speak. I believe he traded back into it.

If the edge geometry is anything like a PH blade then it should be quite the cutter.

Stay in touch :)

Hi Joe, everything's fine just haven't had much time or money for knives. Didn't even realize both my BF and Fototime accounts lapsed... :o I do have a couple of projects in the works that should be completed soon and I'll be sure to post some pics. Send my regards to the family, hopefully we can split a bowl of mussels soon. :D
