A note about the new line and my absence from the forums...

Hello All,
I just wanted to make a quick post about the new line and about my lack of participation on the forums lately.

First off, don't worry, there are no huge problems on either front.

The new line is progressing, there will be pictures to share in the future. The Queen and her husband ;) have been traveling lately (Shot show, hiding Prize tags, etc) and the new line won't be debuted until after they return home. Hopefully it won't be a long wait, please continue to be patient. The Ratweiler and Howling Rat continue to sell very well, but they won't remain on the site for long, they will soon disappear (at least in their current form)

I have been taking a little break from the forums, because I know what it will be like when the new line hits ;). I have been checking in regularly but I've been leaving most of the daily moderating tasks to Troy (thanks troy ;) ) I have been moderating forums for about 6 years,(Busse forum, Swamp Rat forums) most of this time I have been the sole active moderator (not including the Survival forum, Thanks Carl ;) ) and I just needed a little time away from the forums. In addition yesterday (2/27) was the 1 year anniversary of my Dad's death....all is well but it does remind me that family, friends and God are more important than knives ;)

A few notes about the new line.
1) Fewer models will be available in the main line. This has been done to increase production and hopefully enable us to have them on hands to ship more quickly.

2) The knives will ship much quicker than they currently do after placing an order (wait time after ordering approx 10 days).

3) The new Ratweiler is bigger ;):p

4) Special releases will continue, and the main line should be more available than it currently is.

All the above information is tentative until official, but it is also fairly reliable ;)

BTW, I thought that I could send those prototypes back to you in the morning, but I forgot about a project that is due. I'll get em out on Thursday.

It's good to know that you hadn't fallen off the face of the Earth, or were laying in a hospital bed somewhere..

Thanks Eric, glad to see you keeping Family 1st! You know our impatience is like that of a toddler.:D We look forward to the new line up, Thanks for the update!:thumbup:
 
Thanks for the update Eric. I wish more people out there had their priorities in order keeping family first. It pays huge dividends down the road. :thumbup:

10 days??? Now wheres the fun in that??? :p
 
Cant wait for the new line! Been waiting a while to get my first rat and looks like this time I wont have to wait as long as I was told I would have to!
 
Are they still SR101 and are there going to be any offerings or "one of's" in any other offerings? :) ?

Looking forward to the new line and the quick turn around time. Don't know when I'll be able to afford another knife though, as were having our first child tomorrow (scheduled c-section). I'm more excited about Anna's birth, but the new line is a close second right now:)
