This is not meant to be an ego trip or a brag but we finally got our numbers in from Rowen concerning the SHOT show and we gave away more than $ 6600.00 dollars in knives at the show. This was give-aways from our Saturday evening drawing, media samples and knives we gave away simply because we liked someone standing at our booth. This is not MSRP value, instead it is an average value of what the particular models sell for on the internet. If we went with MSRP then it would be closer to 10K.

We will do it again at the Blade show!

Thats awesome! I'm waiting for NGK to get more Izula's in stock. ITS KILLING ME!

Been thinking about a RC-4 too.

The best part wasn't even the giveaways--it was getting to meet the folks behind the blades! Good show, Jeff.

I should have went to SHOT. I'm kicking myself now because I lived so close to the SHOT show but Blade is in Atlanta. ugh.

Some of those blades went to places like Denmark, South Africa, France, Canada, Holland and New Zealand. A lot of those guys come a long way to see knives and other product at the show and it's a real bitch sometimes to mail just a sample knife to some of those countries without the recipient having to pay a wad of taxes. Solution is to give them the knife at the show:) Also a lot of LEO and Military personel received free samples to help them out in their jobs. We are always happy to do it! Mike

Wow, thats incredible guys!!

Wish I could make it to Blade, it'd be neat to meet a bunch of ya'll! I'm going to make it a goal to make it to one in the next few years, seems like it'd be an awesome time for all us knife-lovers, plus I could disguise it as a mini vacation so I could get the wife to agree to it!! :)

I saw the ads for the show last year and I almost went. I beat myself for days after a friend told me about his experience. Anyway, a meeting sounds like a great idea. I will defiantly go this year. I'm sure that the lead up to the show will produce more threads on the subject. We'll have to finalize things once time gets closer to the event.

Great job of overseas marketing there Rat Cutlery. That's how you win friends and influence people! I can't wait till the Izula and the RC-6 are delivered....ahhh the waiting....hurry up USPS!

I'd like to also say that Tom at CRKS has kept me in the loop all the way through my orders, and I am thrilled with all of the "Customer Support and Service" that I have experienced with RC and CRKS! I can't wait to shake hands with the fine folks who will supply my gear. Cheers!

When I meet Jeff and Mike at Bladeshow, I'm going to bring a sharpie so they can sign my pecs. Now THAT would be customer service
