I just thought I should let everyone know that as of 11:59 PM tonight I will no longer be a Super Mod on BFC. I've been a member of BFC for a long time as both a member and a moderator but the time has come for me to hang up my mod hat and move one. This is not a goodbye. I will still be here sporadically as a member who still has an interest in knives. It was a hard decision to make but seeing as I'm devoting time to other things I very rarely get on here to actually enjoy the forum and even less time is spent moderating it. The new school of mods have a pretty good handle on things and as always they can come to me for advice and direction. I want to personally thank Spark for trusting me with moderating his forum. He's a good guy who is doing great things. He's kept this forum up for a long time and that says something about him. He cares enough about the knife community to keep it going so don't you guys muck it up. Follow the rules, ask if you don't' know, and continue to enjoy BFC. I know I will.
 
Ken, Thankyou for your outstanding service. Wish you and the family the best.
 
To me Bladeforums is a one-of-a-kind. The moderators make it so with thoughtful judgement calls ... and like-inspired moderation by members. I can only say thanks for the engagement, thanks for the honest work. More .. thanks for your spirit brought to the forum. :)

Thanks for keeping the peace in the forums throughout the years and helping BFC be the greatest forum on the web. :)

Now I'm trying to picture you and Cougar Allen in the retirement home for retired BFC moderators, chasing the female nursing staff around. :D

Congrats on the retirement, I guess Nickels will be starting the party in W&C.

Thank you for all you have done for the forum - it is good to "retire" and just get to enjoy the forum, although I am sure you will be active when necessary.

Best of luck and I hope everything goes well for you in whatever you choose to focus on forward.
