Hello Gents,

When you collect knives you are exposed to the a lot of stuff. I've gotten caught up in what's the latest and greatest from this maker or that manufacturer on more than one occasion.

I finally got around to replacing my Buck 110 that was lost a very long time ago.

Let's just say I'm very impressed, it's the basic 110 nothing special about it spec wise but WOW. There is something just so right about this design, the shape of the blade, the heft of the knife, the overall feel of the knife.

It's like meeting a good friend you've lost touch with. Very, very happy with this knife :D It reminds me why I got into knives to begin with.

Take care all,

Page

Good post. I know the feeling.

In the early '70s, my father bought me a 309 and 105 that I used throughout my childhood. In the 80s, I put them away and started looking for the "perfect" knife. 10 or so years later and many knives bought and sold, I realized I already had the perfect knives. The 309 for EDC and the 105 for outdoor/camping. Been that way ever since.
