A ? on assisted folders

Hi folks. I live in Canada and was talking to one of my buddies about knives the other day and he mentioned that he went on Amazon.ca to look for a Kershaw assisted and none were listed. He also checked other outlets and could not fine any. A while back I was on here and was reading a post and the lad from western Canada had mentioned something about not being able to find any assisted.
Does anyone know if Canada was indeed not letting any assisted into the country?
I had heard nothing about this and figured that I would ask here to see if anyone had heard anything.

Amazon has run out of stock on many knives as they haven't been able to import for awhile. There are other Canadian dealers that still do have them in stock however.
 
Thanks folks for the answer even though I was afraid that it was going to be sort of bad news.
I will be calling my MP on Monday to see what gives.
I will try the couple of other outlets that I have used to see if they have any that I might be looking for.
