I wanted to share my latest entry into the field / utility mix, so here we go;

The APU (All-Purpose Utility Knife) is designed with all-around use in mind. 5/32" thick ATS34 Stainless Steel, 3 1/2" dual-hollow sabre ground drop point blade profile, 7 3/4" oal. The blade bevels have a polished 400 grit finish. The blade flats have a satin hand-rub finish. Stainless bolsters are also satin finished. Stabilized Maple Burl handle slabs are polished and secured with (3) stainless hidden bolts and two-ton epoxy. There are black fiber spacers sandwiched between the handle slabs, tang and bolsters for effect. Enjoy and thanks for taking the time to look!

Regards,

David

Very clean work David - I especially like the beautiful satin finish on those bolsters. That's some nice Maple too.

Appreciate the compliments guys. Hey Pyrguy, your right it would be nice in a flat grind as well. I know what you mean also Keith, clean, flowing lines, simplicity is a good thing. That stabilized maple really is nice Wulf, I picked ut up from another maker you might have heard of, Mr. Rickey Folwer at a show in Florida last Oct.
