Another package arrived from my friend Jack, a nice hand written note and some goodies

Some fishing glow sticks, a bottle opener shaped like fish bones, Jack knows I like a good brew & fishing, a cool War-Time Cookery to save fuel & food value, interesting piece of history. A

I like Sir Francis Drakes ship the Golden Hind, I like tall ships and was married at sea on a Schooner five years ago next Friday.
And the icing on the cake, a very thoughtful little pig flashlight for my daughter, made me want to listen to Ummagumma :-)

Glad the package finally arrived Pete. I posted it the same day I sent one to Vanguard, and I think his arrived 2 weeks ago!

It was the flashlight. I think there might still be a ban against pork imports. They had to figure out that it didn't apply to flashlights. Normally a call like that takes a senior supervisor.

Weird or what, since I moved to the Outer Hebrides my post has been faster than ever. Second class stuff arrives the next day after posting. Love it!
