A Package from Lisa and Heather

I received a package from Lisa and Heather on Friday. Here's what I found inside.
Large Sebenza, with lisa's Unique Graphic (specially ordered in my favorite design), and Sapphire Cabochon.
Fast turn around time from order to completion and now the Star of my little CRK Sebenza assortment.
Pretty happy with this one so wanted to share with all of you. :)

Very nice and I especially like the different colors in the design around the stone. Congratulations, on that beauty.

This was, for me, a rather special project. I found a photo of a similar design that Lisa did a while back, so I sent a letter along with the photo asking her for that basic design and adding the Sapphire Cabochon.
The results were beyond my expectations and especially so since this knife was made for me. And yes, this knife will eventually be a "user", (indeed, when the honeymoon is over! lol). It is just too nice not to carry and have with me everyday.

There is a Small Sebenza, also special ordered and with a similar design, that I am looking forward to. That one will also be a special package to share. :)

A good bit of my enjoyment of fine tools is in the use of them. I can get more personal enjoyment out of this one if it's in my pocket or on my belt instead of left at home.
But for awhile at least it will grace the table beside my favorite chair and get a lot of petting. Right out of the box this one is the smoothest Sebenza I have owned so far. :)
 
Looks great DH! Hows my box elder mnandi doing? You still need to send it to me so I can make sure it's safe to carry:p You'll never believe this I called about the one onlyfineknives had like 3 times this week to buy but chickened out at the last very possible second and then when I finally worked up the balls I called and it was gone! Of the humanity! I shoulda just quit being such a p$&@y and bought it in the first place. Man I'm sure hoping they're going to have one at Blade bc I doubt I'll see another one at a dealer that'll take a CC before then. TNK is about supposed to post a fresh batch but Neil has already said no box elder:( Awesome score on the Seb though bro!
 
I have found that the doors of "Opportunity" only swing one way and close quickly.
Decisiveness and rapid judgement are the keys.
Then again, it is said, "Good things come to those who wait".
I find "Fast Action" to be more fun and enlightening, if not always financially prudent........ :D
