A package I never see talked about

I am a huge 1911 fan and know that there are a few others who frequent the Busse Subforum who are as well. I am kind of surprised that I have never seen this topic brought up. Seeing this package on the Les Baer webpage was one of my first introductions to Busse knives. I still wish I owned one of these packages, but I am currently saving to get a different Les Baer model. Anyone own one of these and have some pictures?

IIRC, ronybear has posted pix of his. If not him, then someone has, because I do remember seeing them posted here some time ago. Definitely a sweet set! :thumbup:
 
A friend of mine just picked one up on gunbroker at a good deal if you ask me. IIRC he ended up paying about 2/3s of MSRP. Heck the pistol itself would cost that in my area. I have seen the pistol and it is sweet but he wont show me the Busse cause he knows I would be tempted to baton it through the Baer. :)

Found em, thanks Jaxx. I figured I was just late to the party and there would be a few more Hogs with this package that had pictures. Great looking package.

BTW, ya like that Reese Weiland auto? The blade is INFI!! :D:thumbup:
 
Oh yeah!! I saw that in the thread that I got the picture from and was just doing some more searching on it. Amazing blade and knife. Makes me want to put in extra overtime tomorrow and contact some custom bladesmiths......
 
I usually post about all of the + $2300 knife/gun combos I have so...

So, which Busse are you planning to sacrifice for the custom?? ;):D ...That's the part that keeps holding me back so far. LOL However, I have this extra Scrapyard S5 SE. Maybe, hmmm...! :)
 
I would totally offer up my modified SS for a tidy warny folder.

Heck, I would probably be willing to make one out of my GW also. Have it thinned a bit and saber ground. It would be a sweet folder.
 
What's funny is, I almost bought that Baer one day on gunbroker and was like "cool, it comes with a knife", before I even heard of Busse but I got outbid.
 
Nice set Les is suppose to make about the most accurate/well built 1911 around, and the sjtac is just icing on the cake. :cool:
 
Thanks Gatman, did'nt sleep well woke up at 2:am vision was kind'a fuzzy. I think I see a nap in my future.

Forget Baer and Busse, Ed Brown and Busse is a far better combination, at least IMO...

Yeah that Bobtail Cobra's got all the bells and whistle's. Those grips on her are really awesome and quite unique Imho! :cool:
