Here are the two latest offerings from JK Handmade Knives. They are both available.

First up is the first cord wrapped collaboration knife from Connie and myself.

8 1/4" oal
4" blade
1/8" thick O1 steel
Heat finish on the flats
Scandivex edge
This one is green camo wrapped, but will be available in a wide selection of colors

$135 shipped in the USA, including a leather pouch sheath

Next is the first hidden tang knife out of my shop.

8 3/4" oal
4 1/2" blade
1/8" thick O1 steel
Scandivex edge
This is no wimpy skinny tang knife, the tang is a full 5/8" wide, and goes to within 3/4" of the end of the handle
This one is walnut, with a black micarta tang wrap, and brass pins, but will be available in any of my handle materials

$175.00 shipped in the USA, including a leather pouch sheath

NICE. i'm loving the cord wrap! the hidden tang looks great as well. i must also add that i like that you are trying new things. i for one, hate change and love routine, but it's nice to see that you are expanding your offerings to cover a wider variety of preferences. also, even though i despise neck knives, i think that cord wrapped one would make an awesome one at some point with different OAL obviously. great job as always, mr. K!

Cool, great cord wrap and i like the look of the hidden tan, not my thing but i like the idea.

nice looking walnut to!

I hope they sell quickly. Great ideas.

Very nice John.
I can really see a lot of opportunities with the cord wrap.
Looks like an extremely handy little knife.
Pretty slick idea with the hidden tang. I bet that one is super comfortable.

Good luck with your sale

Both awesome. I'm on a hidden tang kick so that one is right up my alley. If I wasn't saving for a wedding I'd be all over it.

The question has been asked, so yes, I do offer the hidden tang model in a full tang version, same price. I used to call it my Bushcrafter, I`ve made a few changes to the handle shape, but otherwise it`s the same knife.

Hi John -

So the tang is hidden by Micarta? IT is a neat look - I wonder what it would look like with wood inset instead of micarta -

That is a really beautiful knife - and I love the #1 - I hope it sells quick or I'll have to buy it!

best

The cord-wrapped knife looks great--very utilitarian and elegant at the same time! I'm a total sucker for hidden-tang knives, too, but generally in the through-tang style. It's neat to see you experimenting with frame handles and hidden-tangs, I have to say, and I'm looking forward to seeing how these develop!

Nice Ones.
Connie's wrap looks great & I like the blade profile.
That Bushcrafter looks great too & would be mine if I had the bucks.
Like Andy said-it would look good with a wood tang wrap, especially if the 2 woods were contrasting, but I think micarta is a good choice for strength.
Ebony over Orange G10 would be killer IMO.

The Bushcrafter did sell, but it looks like I won`t make anymore hidden tangs. Not worth the extra time and cost. As for the cord wrap, I think we might try a small necker size before we give up on them.
