In May of 2000, I picked up a new BM ATS-34 705STB. I edc'd the knife for about 3 years.... It was a great knife but I really grew to not like serrations. Even though the BM serrations work great and are easy to touch-up, I just didn't care for them... SO the knife was retired, which was unfortunate because I really think the size of the 705 is ideal for everyday use... It's just a down sized version of the popular 710, which is a nice knife but bigger than I like for everyday use.....
Just recently I was fortunate enough to get a N.I.B 705 ATS-34 without the serrations
. The ironic thing is the new one is marked May 2000 on the blade, the same month and year as my other one
....
The last few years I have been carrying and collecting slip joint knives, but this new 705 went in pocket as soon as I got it.
