Greetings all,

I was swapping e-mails with Too Tall the other day and got hold of some pics of his recent work (nicely done by Chuck Ward).

The first is a damascus fighter/bowie. Seven inch blade in 1080/15N20 192 layer twist pattern with damascus guard and African blackwood for the handle. A sleek looking piece.

Next is one of his Persian fighter models, more of a personal size with a five inch 1084 blade, nickel silver, and amboyna burl. Nice hamon and real pretty wood.

Only downside - they're not mine.

A couple of good looking knives. I haven't seen one of the Persian fighters before, and I like the pattern very much.

Brion's a stud. Makes a hell of a knife and his prices are great too.

Brion knifes have alot more flow then what I've seen in the past. Great work
Brion see ya at littlerock.

Brions knives are very nice. Those two look like they could fly. You know, just take off like a bird. :) I had the privelege of handling them at the OK City Show. Lin

Thank you everyone for the nice comments, and thank you Roger for the post. I have been trying some different things to get more flow into the design on my knives. Trying to get a sleeker look and give a picture of lightness and quickness. I think I am getting there. That is the fun part trying things out and every now and then when you get one done you just want to pick it up and it just looks right. Actually that persian is smaller than usual, the standard model has a nine to ten inch blade. Wulf has the original prototype and thank you Derek, stud? rolling on floor laughing with giggles coming from the other room. Sean and Lin I will see you at Little Rock.
Again thanks Roger and everyone.

I'd love to see a photo of the Persian with a 10" blade. I saw the one on your website with an 8" blade and I like it very much.

Great looking knives, Brion.

The damascus fighter has a real sleek look to it. I'm sure it feels just right in hand. I love the amboyna burl on the small persian. I need some of that wood.

Keith - I'll try to get a photo as I have both a 10" version and the one from Brion's site. The small one was a late CHRISTmas gift to myself last year.

I'd like to own them myself. Both nice knives with nice lines to them. Good looking hamon on the persian fighter.

Peter

super nice knives. I met Brion at the fall '05 Piney Woods Hammer-In. A depressingly nice fellow in addition to being an oustanding smith. :D I should have bought a knife from him before he got all famous:grumpy:
