So, there's special stuff coming out of South Africa these days... Jason is a very cool dude, and he is making some incredible knives, here are a few examples:
From top to bottom:
The Ranger Scout
Blade: 3"
OAL: 7.5"
Weight: 2.4oz (!!!)
Steel: M390
Barlow
Blade: 3"
OAL: 7.25"
Weight: 2oz
Steel: D2
As you can see both of these have Jason's nested liner lock construction... If you check out the weight I posted above you'll see they're both feather weights... LOTS of Cf in these babies.
The blades on these are really impressive. Handrub is on point, and they're nearly zero-flat-ground. RAZOR sharp with geometry to match.
All the detail work is on point. From the logo on the clip, to the standoffs, and beyond...
The fluted bolster and decorated screws are just another example of the level that Jason is taking his work too.
Anyway, that's it guys... No pointing in beating a dead horse, these are excellent knives. Get one, seriously. ASAP.
