I have had a hankering to grab a few Hawkbills as of late, and these two found their way to me so I thought I might share them. Both were gotten for not much money, and are in pretty decent shape overall. Nothing really fancy here, just a couple of old? work knives that piqued my interest...

Top knife is the Kutmaster sporting what seems to me to be Bakelite covers. The edge was completely gone and the point was just a rounded off nub before sharpening. The liner lock is of rather thin brass, but does it's intended job just fine.
Lower knife is the Robeson, and this one has me truly baffled. The covers appear to be wood, but feel a little bit like plastic to the touch!? Perhaps this is all in my head because of the seeming light weight to this knife. This one seemed used till dull, then put aside.

Both knives have been spiffied up with some 0000 steel wool and oiled and sharpened, great walk and talk, and both are excellent cutters now, gleefully breaking down cardboard.

It's really fun to get these old tools back into shape and use them again
Thanks for looking!
