This is a pair I made for a BF member. He took the photos and sent them to me. It is a O-1 Hunter/Skinner with a O-1 Sportsman.

So what do you guys think?

Thanks
Nick Allen:)

I like them a lot. As a matter of fact, I will eventually be asking you to make me a Sportsman too.

Just an idea, how about seeing one with an un-etched blade?

Thanks Hondo, I was thinking the exact same thing. What do you say we do just that on your large camp knife?

Nick

Those are great Nick... I've actually been messing around my EDC that you made me a while back and have been contemplating having a Sportsman made to go along w/it.

I'm sure the new owner w/be more than satisfied. :D

Thanks Eric, just send me a e-mail when your ready.

Nick:)

I got it and it's one of the best knives anyone could own. Great design, well built, very sturdy, the handle and blade are perfect, Nick sharps it the best I have seen. Plus a nice sheath well made with it, that fits securely.

You won't be disappointed at all. I call it the little big knife. Just under 10" it's a whole lot of knife. You'll find out why when you get yours.

Cheers! :)

PS: an outdoors man friend of mine is begging me to sell it to him he likes it so much!

PS2: what large camp knife you working on for Hondo, please post picture when ready?

Nick, I'd be happy to have an un-etched blade. I think it'll look great.

SpearZ, I asked Nick to make something a little special for me. I'm going to sit on the details until he's done.;)

I have said it before, seems like our choices in knife makers and knives are similar. Which is good we are supporting the little guys!

Good Canadians!

I feel a bit like a traitor. I don't own any knives made here in Canada.:o It's those guys in the States who are making all of those affordable and high quality knives that keep piling up at my house.

Thanks guys. I try my best to offer a good knife at a decent price.

I like to encourage people on the main forum to come and visit here to look around. I think a lot of people simply never consider buying a handmade knife because they think they're too expensive.

There was a guy looking for an alternative to a SRKW Howling Rat. I suggested he check out Nick's Hunter/Skinner. Almost everything else in my life is mass-produced and generic. It's really nice to own something that has a human element like a handmade knife. I think I'd prefer a $100 handmade to a $200 production.

I use to buy production and do for folders still. My favorite folder is the BM 630 Skirmish. But I have been disappointed several times with production sheath knives. I paid good money for a BM sheath knife everyone raves about, I got it and what a let down. How do people rave about the thing.

Why not support a hand made knife maker and put some money in there pocket!

I only have one of Nick's knives, in every aspect, it's top of the line in my books. Great Knife!

Thanks again fellas. I edited my previous post I just realized I made a typo. I try very hard, to make sure that whoever ends up with one of my knives, does'nt feel let down.

Again, thanks
Nick:)
