hey all,

Been wanting to get my hands on an 0301 for a while now, but the speedsafe has kept me away....until now:D A few weeks back I posted about a Tremor I did and was able to work out the speedsafe issue. same basic principle here, but a bit larger. Was able to make a liner with the cutout and from there it was smooth sailing. Thanks to our friend Nevermore for being my guinea pig....turned out the same week I got a 301 for myself thanks to Kershawguy, so i did both.

First a multicam G10 flying V pattern. Speedsafe functional and fast. the colors, mixed with the black DLC look amazing!

and the second I went with Red, used a thin black liner in the middle and red liner by the scale for a cool effect too. Put on a tiger stripe reptilian variant, tried to match the stripes on the blade. I think it turned out pretty amazing. Speedsafe also works fine, very fast.

This was by no means an easy task, It took the whole weekend to finish...very slow going, but worth the time:thumbup:
 
They both look great! The spiky looking part of the flying V on the ends is a nice touch. Which one is yours?
 
Very nice! I really love the layered black liner and that pattern. i'm undecided on the flying V.

Is that a Serrato setup? Or just a straight Rane mixer without the built in Serrato? My record collection makes my large knife collection look sad by comparison but everything is only available as MP3 these days it seems. I'll have to PM you and ask you more.
 
That red scale is amazing. Thinkin it would look good in orange.....

Your work keeps getting better and better!
 
The red is amazing! I wouldn't mind something like that on my 0301. Keep up the awesome work!
