Thanks to your input and assistance with a couple of posts last month, I completed these two critters for a hunting partner of mine. They turned out nicley. Due to only having 3" of horn per handle, I had to go with rear bolsters, which made them a tad handle heavy. I hollow ground the tang to reduce weight, and would have tapered them, but needed even that little extra thickness as the scales were quite thin. Thanks to L-6 Steel here on the forums for your "special" assistance in drilling holes in hardened steel.

Both are ATS-34 at RC60, 4" blade length, liquid nitrogen cycled, Bighorn Ewe horn, brass bolsters, red liners.

Nice looking work,I really like the look of the horn handle
also very nice shaped blades.keep up the good work:)

Thanks for the comments, fellas. After these were done I got to thinking I should have cut the horn, then designed the knife around it instead of the other way around! I learn, but slowly!

Great looking knives. I think what you have done with the handles is
my personal choice. Bolsters front and back love it. To me it frames the material as a special feature.

Very Sexy Blades..I like that horn,The front and rear bolsters will help protect the horn also.
Keep up the great work.

Yeah, those are sweet, what a lucky hunter! You sure he's gonna use them? :D I'd have to do a lot of show and tell before I was willing to risk them in the field. I like the rear bolsters too, personally. I hadn't considered that they'd lead to a heavy handle but I think that would be a small price to pay. There are worse things in the world! :) Keep up the good work, you should be very pleased with yourself!
