A pair of Silver Shadows:D

A week ago i scored a custom Emerson Silver Shadow Karambit, and today i just took delivery of another, but this time with a Commander blade. Here're some photos, and a review comparing the differences...2 awesome Custom Kickass blades from a kickass maker!:thumbup:

And here are some thoughts i have upon comparing both Silver Shadows...

While both are customs, they are both quite different creatures from each other. These are the differences i've observed:

Thicker Silver Twill G10 (Locking liner side) on the Diamond-logo'ed Commander / Thicker Backspacer on the Diamond-logo'ed Commander

Much more uniform grooving on the thumbrest for the Specwar Logo'ed Combat Karambit

Cleaner Wave grind on the Specwar Logo'ed Combat Karambit

"Machine-made" looking Pivot screw on Specwar Logo'ed Combat Karambit, and more "Hand-made" looking Pivot screw on the Diamond logo'ed Commander.

I suppose the differences, while perhaps not the best in some ways, are just part of a hand made knives character.
