Here's a pair of my "Green Canyon" hunters with some nice two tone amboyna burl. These are my simple quick "lower end" hunters.

They are ground from 1/8" 1095. I usually clay quench them and etch the blades.

8 1/4" overall, 3 5/8" blades.

The middle one in the group of 3 has a "No Clay" hamon.

I threw in some pics of the pair with one of the others in buckeye burl.

Sidebar: If any knows why photobucket chooses to upload some of my photos sideways even after I go into the 'edit' tab, rotate the picture so it's oriented correctly, hit the 'apply' button then hit the 'replace original photo' button, I'd be interested in knowing how to fix that. It still loads the photo sideways for some reason.

These look like very nifty little users, and I love the hamon. Nothing very "lower end" about these in my humble opinion.

J. Doyle, Ivew had that problem too with photobucket. I did everything you listed but instead of replace photo i saved as a new one. This generated a different image link and seemed to work. I think the problem is for some reason when you save over the file the image link does not get updated immediately.

Awesome knives btw!
