A Pair of Wilderness Presents. these are my Wilderness model, both are hand made from 1/8" 1095, full tang, full taper grind. Hand filed with random pattern, Blades are hand rubbed to 800 grit, The handles are Big Leaf Maple Burl and Black Platinum Fantasy Marble. Both have two 1/4" mosaic pins. The Blades are 3 1/4" cutting edges and they are 7 3/4" overall. The Maple one is for a local Village cop and the other is my brother's present from me. Thanks for looking Doug

doug email me please i could use some tips on how you did your handles so nice what did you end up using for your final 2 sanding s and what type of oil of finish did you use i want to make my maple look like yours . i know i can but if i get some tips ill only have a couple mistakes at first. this is what im thinkin of doing ill fine sand by hand to say 400 grit wet with linseed oil and then boil in linssed oil . if that doesnt work ill use minwax gel hand rub and then oil and polish. do people varathane the handles . by the way doug very nice knives . kellyw
