I wanted to make a post about the generosity of waynorth waynorth (not that you all don't already know)!

Recently I got this awesome Waynorth Cutlery hat in the mail all the way from across the Northern border.

So I decided to carry just a few of the great knives Charlie has had made. The TC in the picture is the knife that got me back into traditionals and into GEC, so I owe a lot to Charlie's vision and what became Waynorth Cutlery.

Who all started their GEC / Traditional journey with a Charlie / Waynorth knife?

There could be some serious collectors who are arrogant and disdainful of lesser mortals, envious of bigger collections, it's not rare;) Mr C is very far from this as he's not only generous with things but with encouragement and enthusiasm for others, that's rare

My intro to Traditionals may not have started with him but the continuation and development of it certainly has:thumbsup: Moreover, future generations of connoisseurs & enthusiasts will benefit from his remarkable SFO contributions from Queen, GEC and other Traditional American cutlers. Who an ask for more?

Regards, Will

Well, I'm glad the hat finally got there, Logan!!
I'm sure you noticed it is a sturdy denim hat, and Made in U.S.A!!:D

And thanks everyone for your nice comments, and it twangs my heart to know I might have enticed you into the Traditional side of things!!

Very cool, congrats

Never had the pleasure of owning a Waynorth knife (yet!) but have thoroughly enjoyed Charlie’s numerous and invaluable contributions to the Porch and to the hobby itself. I especially enjoy all those great pics of your fantastic Barlow collection  :D

I did! I've been really enjoying wearing it. I was looking forward to wearing it to knife club, but unfortunately couldn't make it this week.
