Hey guys!

Yesterday a nice postman brought me a little letter. In there was a Case Peanut Blue Bone SS

Well, I read about the size, but it´s really extremely tiny. My wife asked me, what´s up to me because I´m buying such cute knives... Perhaps it was because there was an old heavily used Building-Lot-GlockFeldmesser 78 ;) on the other end of the desk.

So far, so good. I think for carrying it as an EDC is right thing.
I really like that knife!

If my own experience is anything to go by, the following will happen;

After a day or two, it will be like it's too small, and you'll go back to what you were carrying before. Then you'll feel a vague sense of something missing, and you'll try the peanut again. It will last a few days, then you'll go back to a bigger knife. This may be repeated a number of times, with the peanut staying longer and longer in your pocket between rejections over it's tiny size. Then one day, the other knives will seem too big. You will get used to the feeling of lightness, like there is no weight in your pocket, but when you need a knife, the peanut will be there ready to cut. And that thin flat ground little blade will cut. Be very careful at first, because peanuts like to give a sample bite to show what they are capable of. Maybe a little nip, maybe a real bite. It needs respect, and like most short guys, it may need to prove it to you.

But in the end, if you bond with it, you will need more peanuts. They are happier in small packs.:D

Hey Carl!

Thanks for that prophecies... Today it´s really a little bit small. I really wanted to take the Medium Stockman or the Mini Trapper with me for getting a bigger knife tomorrow. I´ll do that ;) . I want to look, if in couple of days there will be a more motivation to carry it. (I really like the Peanut, as I already told)

I´m going to tell you all, what´s up in a few days...

My new peanut taught me a quick lesson in respect. A little bite to ensure I wouldn't take it lightly. Beware.

After reading all those new Peanut threads, I'm gonna carry my Yellow one today and see if we can bond a little more.
I really like the little one, but it feels a little too small/fragile sometimes.
I'm gonna put it in my watch pocket but with my Alox Solo/Pioneer in the pocket beneath.
Just in case(no pun intended:p)
 
Hi Guys!

Well, today on Sunday my little Peanut was in duty to follow me. I was with my wife in a cafe in town. I was drinking my coffee and wanted to smoke a pipe. So I used the peanut to cut the FlakeCut-Pipetobacco in a CubeCut-Pipetobacco.

It´s got a hell-of-an-edge. I really love that one. Til now, it didn´t bite me. I hope, it won´t do that... Twenty minutes ago, my Peanut had to cut a rope which I had to put around a package for sending it on Thursday.

That´s what my knife had to do today.
