Paul Hilborn needs no introduction around these parts. Many of us have been the recipient of his legendary generosity and it has touched me again. Paul sent me a spectacular reddish hued saw-cut bone Primble Barlow. He knows I like the oldies :D Now this is one of the coveted John Primble Belknap HDW & MFG. Co. specimens. It has been thoughtfully cleaned and sharpened to a Razors edge. Did I say razor! I am sure its many times sharper than the specimen he sent to Primble! I just know it.

As he also knows, I collect old coins. I am honored to receive this old 1944 penny ( or cent as it has been debated ) and even more special is its...

A Penny from the Window ( if you gather around the porch often....you understand )

Thank you, Paul!! I will carry it often, my friend;):D

Both these guys rock! well done, without you both this place would not have the light, and the shadows would be all the colder.

Way to go, guys! Thanks for sharing the story, Gevonovich, and kudos on your thoughtful act, Paul.
This has been a trying day for me, but I can always count on finding a post like this here to cheer me up!

Could be, but, I wouldn't bet my life's savings on it, if I were you. Be careful if it is. ;)
