At least in my opinion. For years I've carried a Victornox Classic on my key ring. It has been used more often than I can remember, sometimes several times a day...and the most often used feature....the tiny scissors! Of course, my pocket knife of choice is used often also, and I am one of those folks that thinks minimal. So, my EDC is usually a peanut or a small pen. Oh what joy if one could have a peanut that also contained a tiny scissors. Well, a week or so ago I got my wish from Case, and to top it off, its even got a bail. My wife likes the abolone scales, but notwithstanding the "prettiness", this comes close to perfect for me.

Yeh, that is kinda 'pretty.' Hey! I like it anyway! I've got a red bone like that and I used it the first day I took it to work. We went out for wings and I trimmed my mustache before I got to the wing joint. Can't do that with a stockman!

Okay, that's one of the darn prettiest peanuts I've ever seen!:thumbup::thumbup:

I wish they had put bails on more 'nuts, they'd make a perfect keychain knife.

That is a stunning little guy. How do the scissors work?

Now that is a Sunday or Saturday knife and it just gave me a great gift idea. ;)

I saw that a few weeks back and thought the same thing!
If only it wasn't in such a spendy(and UGLY IMO) handle material, I'd have one. I had thought key chains too, and with a small spring clip and a cord it'd be great for neck carry...

I can only hope for a nice red or green bone on the next ones...

+1, I'll wait for different handle materials. Case is heading in the right direction though, I personally never use the pen blade on my Peanut since the clip blade is almost as small.

A Case peanut with scissors with a bail in Abalone???????????

Life can't get much better!!!

Enjoy

"Aye, there's the rub!" Bone and CV would make this thing truly perfect. But I gotta admit that when I hauled it out last Sunday at the church potluck, it got rave reviews...primarily because of the scales...go figure

That's a cute little thing. The bail is a great idea. It would be great if it was a standard feature.

VERY cool. I also carry a SAK "classic" for the scissors, toothpick, etc., but not for it's physical appeal.

Here is a little peanut you may enjoy:

What's the deal with this one? Did it come from Case with those handle slabs, or did you put them on?

My goodness, that is indeed a piece of eye-poppin eye candy. Are the scales opal stone? If not, it is a heckuva likeness.

I should have known better than to open this thread. I got the peanut bug last week from a different thread, but there are so many varieties by so many makers that I just didn't make a decision and the urge kind of left me. I did get hung up in the sodbuster thread and since there is less variety there I wound up with a Case and a Queen. Now, here this thread comes along and throws me back into the deep end of the Peanut pool. Heeellllpppp Meeee!!!!!

if any pocket knife has even been the full embodiment of the term 'bling', that one is it!
STUNNING!!
